The ValuFlo® 1000 series has set the standard by which all others are measured - the perfect blend of medium pressure and ample flow for the majority of ponds. The housing is molded of high-strength, glass-filled polypropylene with stainless steel hardware and dry-run-resistant mechanical seals. The totally-enclosed, fan-cooled motor is built for durability and draws less than half the wattage of comparable submersible pumps. This is an external, out-of-pond pump - it is NOT submersible and is not self-priming, so install a check valve when the pump sits above water level. 115V or 230V with an 8-foot, 115V cordset. 18-month limited warranty. Note: This is an external "out-of-pond" pump and is not submersible. It is not self-priming; when the pump is located above water level, install a swing check valve at the intake and prime the pump before start-up so water stays in the intake line.
