Our Clay Pebbles are an environmentally friendly grow medium that can be reused over and over again.

These all-natural clay pebbles have been fired in super-heated kilns causing them to expand and become extremely porous. These tiny holes and crevices inside each pebble hold and transmit extremely high amounts of air and water to your plant's roots, helping them grow bigger and faster, and making them perfect for hydroponic systems or as an addition to soil mixes. And since these clay pebbles are pH stabilized, they won’t release any additional minerals into your plant's root system.

They are an ecologically and economically sustainable choice for your growing needs! Perfect for passive, wick, subirrigation use, individual hydroculture pots and hydroponic systems.

LECA can vary in size from approximately 4mm - 16mm in diameter.

Reuse over and over by rinsing out roots then sterilizing with a mild solution of hydrogen peroxide or a very mild bleach solution (about 1/2 cup per gallon of water). Rinse well before using.

SIZING:

• 1 quart = 4 cups (fills two 4” pots)
• ½ gallon = 8 cups (fills four 4” or two 6” pots)
• 1 gallon = 16 cups (fills four 6” pots)
• 2 gallon = 32 cups (fills eight 6” or two-to-three 8” pots)
• 3 gallon = 48 cups (fills twelve 6” or four 8” pots)
• 1 cubic foot = 120 cups (fills a lot of pots!)
