CVG (Coco Vermiculite Gypsum) Sterile Bulk Substrate

Our ready-to-use CVG blend starts with our own RHP-certified MycoCoco as the base (the first coco coir researched and selected specifically for its mushroom cultivation qualities). We then add asbestos-free, horticulture-grade, US-sourced vermiculite and complete the trifecta with OMRI-approved gypsum. These components have a low bacterial load and low nitrogen levels making them less prone to contamination and ideal for beginner growers. The result is a perfect balanced substrate for mushroom spawn to prosper and fruit.

Spawn to bulk ratio:

We recommended mixing 1 colonized grain spawn bag with 2-4 bags of CVG. (Higher inoculation rates may improve your success.)
