The Power Relay R4 is an expansion accessory for the IntelliClimate or IntelliDose, providing individual on/off control for up to 4 peripheral mains powered devices (such as humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, heaters, CO2 equipment, lighting, etc.).
When the Intelli-Device needs to turn a device on or off, it sends a signal to the Power Relay R4, which then allows power to flow from the mains circuit coming into the R4 and directly to the corresponding outlet on the R4 that the device is plugged into.
