Premium Coconut-Shell Activated Carbon

Air Box uses granular activated carbon made from coconut shell and activated with high-temperature steam. Its high hardness rating means very little breakage or dusting over time, and the carbon has a high kindling point. This media is especially effective at removing organic and inorganic contaminants from the airstream.

Keep your Air Box performing at its best by replacing the carbon cartridges when odor control begins to drop off. On models with a pre-filter, check and replace the pre-filter regularly so dust doesn't clog the carbon. Replacement cartridges and pre-filters are sold separately.
