Golden oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus citrinopileatus) are easily recognizable by their bright yellow to golden-brown caps, often with a funnel-shaped depression in the center as they mature. They typically grow in clusters, resembling bouquets, on trees, stumps, and logs. The caps are thin, delicate, and have a velvety texture. The stems are white, cylindrical, and often curved or bent.
