10cc Liquid Culture Syringe - Blue Oyster

Includes sterile needle and is guaranteed to be free of contaminants. We recommend using 1-2cc of liquid culture per pound of media, so a single syringe can inoculate multiple bags or jars of grain.

When raw, Blue Oyster mushrooms bear a scent reminiscent of the seashore combined with anise and have a subtly metallic flavor. Once cooked, Blue Oyster mushrooms soften, developing a velvety, tender texture and contain a mild, earthy, and savory taste with licorice-like nuances. Blue Oyster mushrooms grow in large, shelf-life structures comprised of dense, overlapping clusters of individual fungi. The size and shape of the mushrooms will widely vary, depending on growing conditions and factors like humidity, CO2 levels, and light. The caps appear dark blue when young, lightening into a blue-grey shade with maturity. 

Syringes should be stored in the fridge until ready to use. Shake thoroughly before use. Sterilize needle before inserting into self-healing injection port (and after, if you plan to re-use it).
