Lumatek

Lumatek is been leading the "digital revolution" for over a decade. They were one of the first manufacturers to introduce a digital ballast into our industry, and they have outlasted all other competitors. They are constantly innovating and improving on digital ballast technology, staying several steps ahead of the competition. A perfect example of this is how their ballasts work with double-ended lamps. Double-ended (or DE) bulbs have taken the market by storm. Many growers rushed to the store to replace their single-ended reflectors and bulbs with DE bulbs, only to find out that the cheap digital ballasts they currently owned would not fire these new lamps. This is due to the fact that DE lamps require ultra-high frequency ballasts to ignite them. Not only do all current models of Lumatek 1000 watt ballasts fire DE lamps, even the ballasts that were manufactured years prior (even before DL lamps were available in our industry) are also compatible with them.
