Our Long Term Food Storage bags work so well because they have a thin metal outer layer, and metal doesn't breathe and release odor the way plastic does. The inner layer is made from plastic. To seal the bag, simply use a clothes iron, a small hobby iron (sold at arts & crafts or hobby/model stores) or even a cigarette lighter. The heat will melt the plastic and seal the bag. You can reuse the bags after opening by simply resealing them again with heat. Each time you cut the bag open it will be shorter; when it gets too short to reuse the bag can then be thrown away.
Some sizes also feature a ziplock seal that can be used instead of heat. The largest bag will fit most turkey bags. You can fill the turkey bag with product, trap some air in the bag, place the turkey bag in the storage bag and seal. The pillow-effect of the air-filled turkey bag will protect the contents and you won't have to worry about anything getting crushed.
