Our Heavy-Duty proprietary material features a co-extruded, multi-layer construction that offers exceptional resistance to oxygen transmission (OTR) and moisture/water vapor transmission (MVTR), while maintaining a high level of puncture resistance. Say goodbye to concerns about leaks, odors, or environmental damage.

The clear side allows for easy viewing and identification of contents. The black side offers complete privacy and protects contents from light exposure. For full opacity, a double-bag technique can be used to create black on both sides.

GardaPack Heavy-Duty bags are high-performance vacuum seal bags produced using a co-extrusion manufacturing process, similar to leading brands—but with a superior material composition and enhanced performance.

While our Super Heavy-Duty line uses a solvent-free composite lamination process, the Heavy-Duty line is our co-extruded option, engineered for affordability without compromising quality.

Key Features of the Heavy-Duty Line:

• Made from GardaPack’s proprietary co-extruded film, GP51HD, which combines multiple layers of polymers—primarily nylon (PA) and polyethylene (PE)—into a single, flexible, high-strength structure with excellent barrier properties.
• Contains more nylon than competing 5 Mil co-extruded brands, resulting in superior puncture resistance and a lower oxygen transmission rate (OTR).
• Includes advanced polyethylene that delivers a lower water vapor transmission rate (WVTR/MVTR) than comparable 5 Mil co-extruded brands.
