I really wanted a single probe, single calibration, all in one, wall unit and counted on the Hanna brand for operation accuracy and reliability. So i ordered it.
It shows up, and i haul a$$ to the shed to sort it out. The unit is super simple, i had it assembled and ready for calibration well under 10 minutes.
Well... I had an issue with the calibration. I kept getting a "wrong standard" prompt and used up my calibration juice trying to get it calibrated. I was pretty pissed. I sent an email to BG stating that this thing is screwy and I'm sending it back. Mr. Goldman, the owner wrote back saying that two more packets of solution are in the mail. When they arrive call him and we will go through it together. This is another example of the service BG provides. This sort of thing is huge with me. This is the reason I shop here.
So, the solution came, and the unit worked perfectly the first time. And im happy as a clam.
Now, there is a disclaimer in the instructions saying that tiny air bubbles in the Ph probe can happen in shipping, and that the probe should be shaken in a downward direction, like a thermometer before use. I guess I should have read that a little closer the first time.
The issues I had I believe were my own, and i would buy this unit again (Posted on 1/5/2018)
