Ideal-Air Silver Insulated Flex Ducting
Insulated ducting helps keep heat from your exhaust system from escaping back into the growing area. If you cover your air-cooled reflector with Astro Foil/Reflectix or some other form of insulation and use insulated ducting in your exhaust system, then you will be able to significantly reduce the amount of heat generated by your lighting system because the only place for heat to escape will be from the glass lens.
Our ducting is a premium thermally insulated, sound absorbing flexible ducting. This ducting has been developed to minimize heat gain or loss resulting from the temperature difference between the air flowing in the duct and the surrounding air. Ideal-Air premium ducting is covered with a multiple layer aluminum polyester, fire resistant jacket to provide an excellent vapor barrier and to prevent condensation.
