  • Nanolux Cloud Control NCCS Data Transfer Unit (DTU) - NEW/APP MODEL

    NOTICE: This is the newer APP version of the Nanolux DTU. The APP model no longer requires the use of a computer to access the software and program the lighting settings. Instead, everything is accomplished using an APP designed for both iPhones and Android devices. In addition, there are now three different models of RTU's (the USB device that plugs into each individual Nanolux NCCS ballast). It is very important to use the correct RTU with each of your ballasts, otherwise they will not perform as expected. The program is then downloaded from your computer to the DTU (data transfer unit). The DTU controls lighting ballasts and environmental control devices by communicating wire/essly with individual RTU (remote terminal unit) USB devices. The NCCS system currently allows for precision control of your lighting system with dimming, multiple lighting areas, high-temperature dimming features along with fan control. The NCCS will be adding C02 functions, humidity and temperature control, pH and nutrient control, pump control and remote camera features in the near future.

  • AC/DE Air-Cooled Double Ended Reflector 8"

    Don't buy an air-cooled double-ended reflector until you read this!

    The AC/DE is the best air-cooled DE reflector available - period. Other air-cooled DE reflectors allow the air to pass over the lamp or through the lamp compartment. While this does remove more heat, it also has a negative impact on the quality and spectrum of light produced by the lamp. This is due to the fact that DE lamps use quartz instead of borosilicate glass, which offers less insulation to the inner arc tube. DE lamps are designed to operate at a very high temperature. While other air-cooled reflectors cool the lamp and take away from the light, the AC/DE positions the lamp deep into the top of the hood, keeping the lamp at the temperature the lamp was designed to run at.

  • Agrotech Magnum Double Ended Reflector

    Not only is this double ended reflector affordable, it's our favorite choice for installations in rooms with standard 8' ceilings. In a typical setup with two lights over a 4' x 8' area, you will find that the light directly underneath the lamp is too strong for the plants, often causing the leaves to yellow, while the light around perimeter of the area isn't strong enough. What's great about this reflector is that it is so wide, it covers the long edges of the area very well. Instead of positioning the reflectors in the center of each 4' x 4' square we recommend that you push them away from each other, so that they are almost at the edges of the 8' area. This is due to the fact that the DE lamp produces so much plant-usable light that instead the "hot spot" forming underneath the lamps, it actually forms directly between the two reflectors. When you spread them out you do two things. First, you increase the amount of light available at the ends of the 8' area. Second, the hot spot between the two lights is eliminated. We've actually setup test rooms with 4' x 8' trays and two lights above each tray. They we walked the length of the trays with our PAR meter to test the actual peaks and valleys in the light throw. The tray with the Agrotech Magnum reflectors actually produced the most even light spread we've ever seen. In addition, the most common feedback we get from customers using these reflectors is that they never have to turn the lights up past 750 watts, yet they achieve better results than their old 1000 watt single ended systems. Better yields and a 25% savings in electricity - an absolute win/win situation. This reflector is very lightweight and ships unassembled, which means that although it is a very large reflector, it's less expensive to ship than most of the other reflectors we offer.
