Grodan

Grodan Rockwool and Stonewool Grodan supplies cultivation solutions that comprise a combination of advice, support and a clean and controllable substrate. This results in the best basis for the cultivation of safe, healthy and high-quality vegetables and plants. For over fourty years, Grodan has been at the cutting edge in the cultivation of safe, healthy and high-quality vegetables and plants. Their A-OK starter cubes are the most widely used media for starting clones. Their rockwool growing slabs are primarily used by commercial tomato, cucumber and pepper farmers, but their Delta series of rockwool blocks are very popular among growers of all sizes.

  • Mini-Blocks MM50/40 2" x 2" x 2" - pack of 24

Mini-Blocks sit in a tray (flat) without support for easy starting of seeds and cuttings. These Mini-Blocks are individually wrapped in white plastic to minimize algae growth. Remove wrapping and transplant into any loose media such as Grow-Cubes or coconut fiber or leave wrapping on and set on top of a larger Gro-block. Packed in easy tear away strips, labeled with instructions.

Grodan Rockwool Mini-Blocks are great choice for rooting cuttings. We recommend soaking them in pH 5.5 water before planting up with seeds or clones. Keep them under a dome to retain moisture and mist if necessary. From here, you can transplant into any growing medium, soil or hydro.

NOTE: A full case of these cubes is 60 packs (1,440 Mini-Blocks). If you are looking to purchase full cases, simply order in increments of 60. When you add them to your cart you will see that the price has been changed to reflect the discounted case price.

  • A-OK 50/40 2" x 2" Plugs - sheet of 50

A-OK Starter Plugs for starting seeds and rooting of cuttings prior to plugging into the larger Gro-Blocks. A sheet of A-OK plugs fits a standard 10 x 20 propagation tray (flat). If you want to transplant into larger rockwool blocks later on, don't use these cubes (they're too big) - use the 1.5x1.5x1.5'' cubes.

Grodan A-OK plugs are designed for seed and cutting propagation prior to "blocking on" into larger growing blocks. The V-shape design of the plug discourages tangling of roots between the plugs in the A'OK plug sheet.
