General Organics is a brand developed by General Hydroponics. Although the name implies that it is a line of organic nutrients and supplements, most of the line is actually veganic (or VGANIC as they call it), meaning it contains no ingredients derived from animal products. Either way, the General Organics line appears to work well as our customers who have tried it seem to come back again and again for it. The base nutrient is an easy to use 1-part grow/bloom formula. Their CaMg+ is a great alternative to conventional Cal-Mag products on the market. The rest of the line consists of a rooting enhancer, a kelp-based enhancer, a fish-based (actually squid) enhancer and a bloom enhancer. While some customers use the General Organics line in hydroponic systems, it is primarily designed for media-based systems such as soil, peat and coco.
