Cloud Coir - Professional Grade 50/50 Coco Coir/Perlite Growing Medium - 50L bag

This is an excellent growing medium for growers who like growing in coco coir but feel it's "too wet" and want something to provide more oxygen. You can rinse the white powder off your own perlite and mix with coco yourself but why bother when you can get the highest quality coco on the market already mixed for you? This is an excellent stand-alone media and it's what we recommend to our customers who grow in AutoPot's. But where we feel this product really shines is for those of you who transplant into a small container to veg and then into a larger container to flower and finish. 

Most growers find that even when starting in a smaller container (like a Solo cup or 1 gallon nursery pot), the coco stays wet for many days, resulting in fewer feedings, slower root development and longer veg times. Try using Cloud Coir in the Solo cup or small pot. You will find that the media dries out quicker, roots establish themselves faster and veg times will be quicker. Once the root system is established, switch to Char Coir (which is straight coco coir) and transplant into the larger container. We've seen the results of starting with Cloud and switching to Char and once you see them for yourself you will never go back.

Cloud Coir is certified pathogen free. In fact, each and every ocean container that arrives comes with a lab report attached to ensure it has been tested and is completely free from harmful bacteria and fungi. One of the many ways they achieve this by letting the coir dry a bit more than other coir which makes it more difficult for pathogens to grow during transportation while at the same time reducing the weight of the bag - a win-win situation for the grower. Also, the product is manufactured in smaller batches and is not sold through sub-distributors so it passes through fewer hands, which means the product is fresher and the price isn't marked up as many times, which helps keep the cost down on this premium product. Cloud Coir is a ready-to-grow, RHP-certified blendded Coco Coir and Perlite medium. One of the most important elements a plant needs to grow is oxygen at the root zone. Cloud Coir 50/50 blend is the perfect ratio for roots to thrive and not become over saturated, allowing for better nutrient uptake more frequently. Cloud Coir has also received RHP certification from Holland.

Directions:

• Fill your container with Cloud Coir
• Transplant into Cloud Coir and water in with ph balanced water (5.8 to 6.5) and your nutrient regiment until run off is visible
• Use your recommended nutrient regiment every time feeding is necessary to avoid deficiencies
• Do not let Cloud Coir fully dry out between watering for best results
