The CleanLight Pro is a plug and play unit that is easy to use. The CleanLight Pro uses a 36 watt UV lamp which is just strong enough to kill fungi, viruses and bacteria but not enough to harm plants and crops. 

With the CleanLight Pro you protect your plants, flowers and crops in a completely organic and environmentally friendly manner. CleanLight can be applied inside and outside; crops and plants outside are stronger and can also be exposed longer to CleanLight UV light (5-10 seconds). 

CleanLight UV crop protection must be applied on a daily basis. Powdery mildew and botrytis spores germinate once every 24-48 hours; to break this cycle it is important  that CleanLight is applied regularly. The CleanLight UV light does not kills spores and insects, these organisms are too strong; although CleanLight kills the mycelium of fungus.

For safety it is essential that the protective gloves and glasses are always used. Prolonged exposure to the skin could cause skin irritation, and looking directly into the light is harmful for the eyes.

While exposure time can be perfectly measured with automated systems, the CleanLight Pro works differently. With a distance of 5-10 centimeters to the plant, the exposure time should be between 2-5 seconds. The larger the distance to the plant, the longer the exposure time should be. 

Some plants and crops are more resistant to UV light than others, so if a slight burning of the leaf occurs it is recommended to let the plant rest a couple of days so it can recover.
