Evolution® LGR
Low Grain Refrigerant Dehumidifier
The Evolution packs state-of-the-art low grain refrigerant (LGR) technology into a compact design. Built for today’s trained restoration professional, the Evolution also encompasses the most user-friendly features. So versatile and easy to handle that you'll want to use it on every job!
Why an Evolution LGR?
No Coil Freeze
As the coils on a standard dehumidifier build ice and freeze, the unit loses operational efficiency. Surprisingly, this freezing normally occurs when the air temperature gets close to 70 deg F. Coincidentally, most grow rooms only get down to this temperature when the lights turn off, and it’s during this dark cycle when the humidity in the room is at its highest. So essentially, standard dehumidifiers stop working when you need them the most. In the past, indoor gardeners would “fix” this by placing a space heater near these coils. However, the additional costs and amperage draws made proper dehumidification prohibitive or impractical. The LGR technology combats coil freeze with a hot-gas bypass maintaining effectiveness down to 1 degree above freezing!
Industrial Efficiency
Drawing only 5 amps, the Evolution LGR easily gets the job without adding stress to your room and circuit. Compare your average household dehumidifier at approximately 10 amps / 1100 watts (add your space heater “fix” and you’re now in for 20 amps / 2200 watts!). The Evolution LGR is 2-3 times more powerful than standard units costing around $500 each. So you can purchase up to 3 standard units for $1500 and drawing up to 60 amps total, or you can purchase 1 Evolution LGR and draw a total of only 5 amps.
Automatic Drain
Previous generation dehumidifiers relied on catch trays to collect condensation and humidity. To prevent overflow, these units would shut off if the catch tray reached capacity. The Evolution LGR allows for unattended operation with a built in pump to purge the catch basin through a 40’ drain hose. Place your Evolution LGR virtually anywhere in your grow room without fear of auto-shutoff.

LGR technology. Keeps pulling moisture below 40 grains per pound so that deep drying can occur.
Compact size. Lightweight, easy to maneuver, and highly versatile.
Improved hose wrap. Recessed, quick-release design keeps drain hose free of kinks.
Low amp draw – only 5 amps. Lower draw means higher efficiency and reduced problems with heat on the job.
Advanced filtration. HAF filters rated twice as efficient as washable foam.
Protected touchpad. Recessed digital control panel for protection. Easy-to-use controls in four languages.
Automatic pump purge. Automatic pump cycles every six minutes to eliminate overflow.
