The Large Super Horizontal Reflector by Sunlight Supply is perfect if you are more concerned with covering a large area then you are with having the most intense light. It features a durable white powder coated finish with sturdy steel construction, as well as a spectral pebble aluminum insert for even light distribution. The Large Super can easily be converted into an air-cooled version by attaching the optional Air-Cooled Fittings and Glass Lens. Does not include socket assembly.
Dimensions: 20½" long x 24" wide x 7½" tall (not including socket assembly).
Air-cooled Fittings:
These fittings attach to the sides of the Large Super Horizontal Reflector and allow you to connect 4" duct hose from an exhaust fan (see "Exhaust Fans & Circulators" under "Atmosphere"). When air-cooling any lighting fixture, BGH always recommends using a Glass Lens for maximum performance (see below).
Glass Lens:
The Glass Lens is used not only to keep the bulb and reflective surfaces of your reflector free from dust, but also allows you to keep the lamp closer to the plants and also prevents pesticides and foliar sprays from coming into contact with and damaging the bulb. BGH also recommends using the Glass lens in conjunction with the Air-cooled Fittings if you plan to air-cool your light.
Requires a Sunlight Supply Socket Assembly. Does not include lamp cord, ballast or bulb.
