These normally closed dampers will open when the power is turned on, allowing air to pass. When the power is turned off, the dampers will close. They are most frequently used on the intake port of the grow room, but can used on the exhaust side where your exhaust fan would be as well. When plugged into the same timer or controller as your exhaust fan, the damper will open when the fan comes on and close when the fan turns off ensuring that no CO2 is lost and also helps prevent pests, etc. from entering the room, creating a sealed environment.
Supplied with a safe UL Listed 16 VAC, 15 VA low voltage transformer. All you need is a power cord to finish the installation.
